Valley Pickin'

We went to an apple farm across the river to do some apple picking. They had quite a few varieties of apples. We got three different kinds: Alkmene and Elstar were picked for those apple pies and the Gingergold were picked for eating. We also picked some bartlett pears. Some corn was picked for a special treat for the chickens. They had lots of pumpkin ready too. We got some weird looking ones. Two white and a reddish orange one. It didn't take long to pick a wagon full. It is a bumper crop this year.
