On Saturday, Todd and Ivan headed over to Long Island to watch the New York Islanders play the Boston Bruins. Ivan's camera was not working so they didn't get any pictures :(. Linda, the girls and I headed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It would take a week to see everything just like the Museum of Natural History. We saw the Egyptian exhibit, armour, sculptures and musical instruments.

A real mummy! There were many sarcophagi as well as millions of artifacts that range from bead size to temple size!

Who wouldn't want sandals made of gold with matching toe and finger covers?

Heather and Vanessa joined a class learning about sculptures and techniques. The ended up spending an hour and a half here learning and eventually drawing what their own sculpture would look like. The girls got many compliments from passing patrons
