Got No Strings

Heather's annual dance recital had them dancing as Pinocchio. It is titled "Got No Strings" but they have strings. I'm confused but it was a great routine. Heather also did a trio in her National outfit. Unfortunately Kits Showboat was rained out so she only got to perform once at the end of the season.

Daddy's Scavenger Hunt

For Father's Day, we made Todd go on a scavenger hunt. The girls and I made the clues and hid the goodies. We stumped him a few times but he ended up finding it all.

First International Regatta

Heather got to participate in her first regatta in the United States. She had a dance dress rehearsal so we were only able to make one race, K4. She did, however, get to try paddle boarding for the first time.

Vanessa Tries Sprint Kayak

Vanessa finally got to try the sprint kayak. It is a lot more tippy, she said.

Project Finished!!!

Heather finished her Ostrich project. She did a great job. The egg in the project was a small chicken egg that we saved.

One of Those Priceless Moments

Jigs is such a gentle soul. He is so good with the chickens. He looks out for them and enjoys hanging out with them. He protected one of our big hens from a coyote attack this month. He chased the coyote right out of the yard.

Heather and Her School Projects

Heather is working on quite a few different projects for school. She is planting a garden and reducing her energy consumption for her personal responsibility and global goals. She also has a big project on ostriches. She had to make a diorama with a homemade model of an ostrich. She is doing a fantastic job.
