Swimming with Dolphins

Back to SeaWorld today. A very special day for Heather as she had the privilege to swim with the dolphins and even ride one! Check out the video.

Kayaking in La Jolla

We went kayaking in La Jolla today. It was a great experience and we learned a lot. Too rough to go through a cave but it was a really fun. We met a nice couple from Los Angeles.

These homes are in the millions but you have to pay cash as you can't get insurance. These homes will be condemned in less than 20 because of the amount or erosion on the cliffs

This cave was used to smuggle liquor during prohibition. It has caves up to the basement of a house on the cliff.

The family took a trip to San Diego during Spring Break. It was a lot of fun. Our first stop was SeaWorld!

First Homegrown Easter Eggs

We finally got to use eggs from out little flock of chickens for Easter. As you know, last year they arrived from the Easter Bunny and this year they have produced a bounty for us to color. Most of the eggs were Professor Trelawney's eggs. Unfortunately, she was taken by a predator shortly after this. And then there was four.

Happy St. Paddy's Day

Todd and I went to a pub in the city to get the St. Patrick's Day experience. It has been a long time since we have done this. It was a lot of fun. I don't drink beer but it was fun posing with it because its me favorite color.

Vanessa's Hip Hop Experience

Vanessa tried a hip hop class in the spring. This was their final class to show the parents what they had learned.

Roasted Bunnies

Its the beginning of March and the weather is decent enough to have a camp fire. What better way to celebrate the beginning of March than roasting marshmallow bunnies. The chickens even liked the marshmallow but they didn't lay eggs the next day so I don't recommend that again.
